‘Spider-man: Brand New Day is officially in pre-production

Screendaily has reported that the new entry into the Tom Holland Spider-Man franchise is officially in pre-production in the UK and is almost ready to begin filming for the web slingers next adventure. ‘Brand New Day’ is preparing to begin shooting on Pinewood Studios which is based in the UK and is also the same location that many scenes in the Upcoming ‘Avengers Doomsday’ will be shot also. The Fourth Spider-Man flick will also have shooting locations in Glasgow, Scotland also which was reported by ‘The Herald’ who reached out to Sony to confirm.

Tom Holland is returning to play the Titular Marvel web slinger, but surprising or not surprising to some, Zendaya and Jacob Batelon are expected to return to the fourth entry as well, this comes after ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ where we didn’t know whether or not they would return after they lost all memory of Peter Parker after the events the occurred. Sadie Sink and Liza Colon-Zayas have also signed out to have significant roles in this new Spider-Man film but there hasn’t been any confirmation as to who they will be playing. Destin Daniel Cretton, director of ‘Shang-Chi: Legend of the ten rings’ is the new director of ‘Spider-Man Brand New Day’ after taking over the mantle of Jon Watts who previously directed the previous Spider-Man, Tom Holland Trilogy.

‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ was obviously going to come out sooner rather than later as the success of the previous entry ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ would have lit up Sony and Disney’s eyes and made them realise that these films are so special and everyone loves them. ‘No Way Home’ earned around $1.9 Billion at the Box Office making it one of the highest grossing films of all time! It will be just under five years since ‘Spider-Man no way home’ had been released when we will set out eyes upon the anticipated new inclusion to the beloved franchise. ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’ will officially release In Theatres July 31st 2026.
