Pixar announce new film from the director of ‘luca’ Enrico Casarosa

Disney have been busy at the France annecy animation festival in the last 24 hours and has revealed many new details about already announced films, but they have decided to reveal a new Pixar film that is in the works. ‘Gatto’ is officially in the works at Pixar Studios and the film is to be expected to release In Summer 2027. This new animated feature film is being created by the crew that worked on ‘Luca’, directed by Enrico Casarosa. ‘Gatto’ will stick with the Italian vibes just like Luca was - many described Casarosa’s first Pixar film as lovable and creative settings, so they will be exploring that country again.

The premise of this new animated Pixar film is that A black cat named Nero has been travelling across the sea sides and the extraordinary city of Venice, we this film will take place, the Cat starts to wonder whether or not it has lived the right lives. Nero finds himself in an unexpected friendship that may potentially lead him to find his purpose, unless the mysterious and dark side of Venice gets to him first, this whole journey comes after getting tangled with the local feline mob boss.

Also at the France annecy animation festival Pixar revealed footage from their upcoming feature ‘Hoppers’ as well as the first two minutes of the highly anticipated return to a franchise - ‘Toy Story 5’, also with this footage they revealed the news that Joan Cusack, who voices Jesse will return In the role.
