superman soars in to beat fantastic four in early ticket sales

According to Deadline James Gunn’s new entry into his wide scale DC universe ‘Superman’ has flew up the rankings in highest tickets sold for a film before it’s release in 2025 beating Fantastic Four which held the top spot when their tickets first went on sale. Fantastic Four: First Steps and Superman have a bit of a head to head on the way as both films come out within the same months and only has two weeks between each other. Marvel want to get back on top after a few years of fans criticisms of their latest releases being lower than standard whereas DC is looking to be on the rise and the previous DC universe is over and James Gunn now holds the rails and is in full control, leaving fans excited for the future. This all makes sense as to why Superman is now officially beating Fantastic Four: First Steps in the early ticket sales

Despite Superman overtaking Fantastic Four: First Steps, this doesn’t mean that one film is terribly. Both Summer blockbusters are on track to earn hundreds of Millions of dollars at the box office and both are likely to be the number one and number two highest earning films of the year, which is a pretty huge feat no matter who gets that top spot
